Buddha Sanctuary at Wat Phra Mahatat

This wihaan (Buddhist image sanctuary) is found directly to the side of the chapel underneath the main chedi at Wat Phra Mahatat in Nakhon Si Thammarat. Behind the Buddha images you see, there is a raised area that is surrounded by yet more Buddha images. It is a quiet, peaceful place with many signs of devotion, from a gold-leafed Buddha to an offering of flowers in front of one of the images.
