This vendor sells Pork Leg Rice served with Pickled Mustard Greens (Kao Kah Moo) on Sukhumvit Road just before the mouth of Soi 55 (Thong Lo) right in front of the escalator for the Thong Lo skytrain stop. Pork leg is stewed from the hoof up to the shoulder, skin on, for several hours until wonderfully tender and then served over plain rice with some pickled mustard greens on the side. She has been selling her food in the same location for at least 3 or 4 years that I can remember. We manage to eat here a couple times each year. Kasma has tried to re-create this dish in the United States, having some difficulty getting non-Asian butchers to sell her the pork leg with the skin on.
