Grating Coconuts — for Coconut Milk | ||

Two of the men (the one on the right is Sun’s youngest brother) hold coconut halves up to an electric grater. The resulting grated coconut will be used to make fresh coconut milk. They started out with whole coconuts, first having to hack off the husks, then cracking them in half. Before starting the grating, the two tubs in the front were full to overflowing.
