Sun - Our Thai Driver

This is our driver to the south and one of Kasma’s drivers on her tours. Sun has become friend and family. He is shown here in beach attire peeling a pomelo. Most Thai people are called by a nickname and Sun is no exception. When we visited his family, his mom didn’t know who Kasma was talking about when she mentioned “Sun.” It seems that nickname came from his wife but his family knows him as Ya.
